I created this project to learn how TCP works for embedded devices. Why TCP? Its a secure channel for embedded devices to communicate.

What is a TCP Socket? Well, let me make it less geeky for you. TCP, which stands for Transmission Control Protocol, is used by embedded devices to communicate over ethernet cables or even internally without the cables. Ethernet cables? Yes, the same ethernet cables you might have seen go from your home Wi-Fi modem to your router.

Let’s get a little geeky by diving into the theory of how these sockets are created. Let’s get a little geeky with Linux.

If you are like me, you would want to see the geeky part of coding these sockets in C for embedded Linux systems.
